The good, the bad… and the QUIC A new transport protocol for the Internet

Every student of computer networks will have heard it a million times: when an application wants to send a message over the Internet, it can do so by enlisting the services of one of the Internet’s two transport protocols: either TCP or UDP. As it turns out, that’s not entirely true anymore and there is in fact a third option. It’s called QUIC.
